emile is going to be playing a recently returned vietnam vet in a new movie called 'taking woodstock'. the film's release date is set for 29 june 2009, with filming set to start in august in new lebanon, new york. the film is a screen version of elliot tibers book of the same title.

Focus Features will begin production late this month on "Taking Woodstock," scripted by James Schamus and to be directed by Ang Lee. Lee's ensemble cast includes Emile Hirsch, Imelda Staunton and Liev Schreiber. Pic is an adaptation of the memoir of Elliot Tiber, who played a role in helping the historic 1969 music fest unfold on his neighbor's farm (Daily Variety, April 22). read the full article here... read a review of the book here...

well party people, it looks like emile finally decided to show the world what his girlfriend looks like. we all had an inkling that there was a lucky girl and now we finally know that there is one. he showcased his lovely lady at the los angeles 'speed racer' premiere on april 26 2008. so far there has been no positive id of her, other than this little snipped from nyjtimes.com

Joined closely with his girlfriend, Emile greeted excited fans and later warmly greeted the producer of the film, Joel Silver. Both were very friendly with one another and looked very happy to see each other again.

i added a few new images to the gallery today. ive also decided to make a section in the gallery for watermarked pictures only. a lot of pics i come across that i dont have in my gallery are watermarked with a wire image or getty stamp. they are still great pics but just with an ugly mark in the middle of the image. as soon as i come across the un-watermarked image, i will add it to the regular section of the gallery, but until then it will stay in the watermark gallery. i'll be making that gallery some time today.

im so sorry the site has been so quite the past week but ive been so busy and didnt get a chance to update the site at all. i'll be making a new layout for the site and gallery soon so keep an eye out for that. i'll also be making some more avatars, signatures and wallpapers when i get some free time. sorry again! make sure you check out the gallery though...there were a bunch of new pics added there so that should give you your emile fix for a little while :)

unfortunatly emile did not win at the screen actors guild award for 'outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role' or 'outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture' but no matter. our boy is doing well enough to catch their eye so we are all still very proud of him. i added a couple of pics from the directors guild of america awards to the gallery and i'll be adding more as soon as they surface. if you have any that i dont, please feel free to drop me a line and send them on over!

the article and images from the mixte 100% homme are now up in the gallery. thank you so much flow for scanning these images for the site, they are so hot! i have created two new albums in the photo shoots section, both of which contain old images but some have better quality images now. thanks to deondre' for a few of the pics from those 2 new albums.

i also made a new wallpaper and a signature for the site, both of which can ba found in the downloads section.

it is with great sadness that i write today that Heath Ledger, the amazing, talented and wonderful Australian actor has died of a possible accidental prescription drug overdose. i was a massive Heath Ledger fan and this news is shocking to me, as i am sure it is to a lot of other people. He was the greatest actor of our generation to come out of my home country of Australia and He will be sorely missed. i still cant believe He is dead! He was truely a talented actor and had so much potential. i can honestly say that had it not been for Heath being in 'lords of dogtown', i would not know of emile, for He is the reason i saw the movie in the first place.
my heart goes out to His family, friends and most of all His 2 year-old daughter. we love you Heath, rest in peace.

hi everyone. today i added some more pictures to the gallery. i am planning to update again tomorrow but if i dont tomorrow then it will definitely be in the next couple of days.

there are 103 new images in the alpha dog captures album.     i still have a whole lot more to go so keep an eye out.

hi everyone! day two of my site opening has given me a lot of new updates to the gallery. heaps actually....to many to write in the updates section. your best bet would be to just go have a look through the gal to see what i mean.
i really really need to thank the awesome myspace owner over at emile fans! for being so generous in letting me use their pics! i know it would have taken ages to get a collection that big.

aside from the gallery updates, i havent updated anything else on the site. i will be making some wallpapers and avatars sometime tonight or tomorrow so i'll let you know when they are up and online. so until then, enjoy the new pics in the gallery!
